Adam Krause (1977—) is an author, musician, activist and carpenter based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has performed and recorded music for more than half his life, and has written and published numerous essays and articles on radical politics and avant-garde art, including the New Compass publications Art as Politics, and The Revolution Will Be Hilarious.

Krause has also been heavily involved in the cooperative movement, most notably, as one of the founders of Build Milwaukee Cooperative, a collectively-owned, consensus-based construction company that has not only done away with bosses and hierarchies, but strives to build and remodel in a more sane, less wasteful way.
